Project: Faena Art Center Intervention Competition
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Year: 2012
Architect: Carlos Peña

As part of the competition organized by the Faena Art Center in Buenos Aires, an immersive artistic intervention was developed to explore the relationship between the body, perception, and imaginary landscapes. The proposal consisted of a series of cubes offering different experiences to the viewer: in some, the tectonics of the space were inhabited, allowing for physical and sensory interaction; in others, the environment was contemplated through irregular planes constructing a visual territory.

These spaces were composed of digital images printed on glass, creating a fictitious landscape that invited viewers to interpret it according to their own experiences and perceptions. The installation aimed to generate a sensory and reflective experience, where interaction with the space and images provoked a personal connection with the proposed environment.

This intervention aligned with the Faena Art Center's mission to promote site-specific works that engage with the monumental architecture of the building and the cultural and urban conditions of the immediate context.
